PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM
To train "assistant teachers" who have absorbed the concepts and principles related to its subject, based on universal science and education in the field of child development and education, can combine theoretical knowledge with practice, can fulfill the professional requirements of their profession, prepares the necessary environments, ability to provide education such as music painting, drama, gymnastics as well as education for the holistic development of children, contributing to increasing the education and life quality of children of the age population, will be able to work in institutions and organizations that offer child development and education with an implementer, creative and developer nature in the field of child development and education developing the mental abilities and basic habits of children aged 0-6 who show normal needs or have special needs, the knowledge, skills and equipment required by the sector to meet the health, care, education and other needs of children. Also; to educate individuals who have universal, cultural values, professional ethical competence and awareness, following the sectoral developments in science and technology with the awareness of lifelong learning in the individual and professional field and constantly renew themselves and have knowledge, skills, competence and awareness about safety, health and environmental protection measures.

To be a department that producing information and providing education at international level, constantly improving itself in the field of child education and being shown as an example, can freely express his feelings and thoughts as required by a modern and democratic society, creative, researcher, entrepreneur, who can transfer basic life skills to daily life, educates child development specialists who aim to raise individuals who respect human rights, are willing to learn, and who are mentally and physically healthy.
TITLE AND EMPLOYMENT
Program students gain the title of Associate Degree and Child Development Professional by gaining theoretical and practical knowledge and skills during their two-year education. Our graduates work in official and private pre-school education and special education institutions affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Health and the General Directorate of the Prime Ministry Social Services and Child Protection Agency, children's clinics, hotels, children's clubs of tourist facilities. In addition, if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam held by ÖSYM, they can make vertical transfer to Pre-School Teaching, Child Development, Special Education Teaching and Social Work undergraduate programs.
